A fully Comprehensive Parts & Labour Warranty (Motorplan Plantinum) is included in the purchase price of vehicles sold by SND Autos. This covers the car for 3 months from purchase date at up to £500 per claim with no restriction on how many claims can be made*.

*This cover is subject to the terms and conditions laid out in the Motorplan Platinum plan, which is available on request. A summary of the main limitations is included below.

Currently SND can offer an extension of Motorplan parts and labour cover for one to three years at very competitive rates. We also offer Breakdown Insurance which is second to none.

What parts are covered?
Motorplan insure you against loss due to Mechanical Breakdown of certain parts during the period of cover. Only the parts under the heading 'All mechanical and electrical parts' are insured.

All mechanical and electrical parts
All mechanical and electrical parts are covered against Mechanical Breakdown of the Vehicle together with

Turbo/Supercharge (factory fitted)

Catalytic Converter

Air Conditioning (factory fitted)

In Car Entertainment (Up to a maximum of £100)

Timing belts Provided there is proof that the manufacturer's replacement recommendations have been complied with and they are free from oil contamination.

Castings Cylinder block, gearbox, and axle if they have been damaged by a Mechanical Breakdown of one of the parts insured.

Extenstions to Coverage
In the event of a claim being admitted by the insurer the insured may, if applicable, claim the following benefits, subject to the provision that the insurer's liability shall not exceed the Limit of Indemnity and provided that prior authorisation is given by the Administrator.

Vehicle Hire
Motorplan will pay up to £50 per day including VAT for a maximum of 7 days. Car hire ois only available when the manufacturer's recommended repair time exceeds 8 hours. The period of hire does not include delays while awaiting the start of repairs or delivery of parts.

Recovery
Towing charges up to an amount of £50.00 per occurrence (inclusive of VAT)

Overnight Accommodation
In respect of Overnight Accommodation, up to £50.00 per occurrence (including VAT) provided that:

i) failure of the Insured Vehicle has occurred outside a 50 mile radius of the Insured's address or intended overnight accommodation and,
ii) that the Insured Vehicl cannot be repaired during the day of the failureand,
iii) a relief vehicle is not available

Continental Use
Cover is extended while the Insured Vehicle is in any country of the EU or EFTA for a period of not more than 60 days in any 12 month period, with the Limit of Indemnity restricted to the equivalent United Kingdom rate for labour charges and parts at Manufacturer's list prices as applicable at the date of the claim.

Eligibility
Applicable to vehicles up to a maximum of 7 years old having covered less than 70,000 miles at the date of inspection retailing over £3,500.
